Education

Dr. Bates holds her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University, and Bachelor of Science from The Evergreen State College in Biochemistry and Ethnobotany. She has additional post-graduate training in women’s health, fertility, midwifery, allergy, and immunology. Dr. Bates is a licensed Naturopathic Physician in the state of Washington. Elsewhere, Dr. Bates is available as a holistic wellness consultant and any recommendations or supplements Dr. Bates provides are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any disease.

Her passion is empowering couples who are facing health & fertility challenges, and helping them establish optimal physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness for themselves as the cornerstone for a successful journey toward achieving pregnancy, growing a healthy family, and having a joyful life. She specializes in natural approaches for improving wellness, such as nutrition and botanicals, and believes in empowering clients to take positive actions for their own health and wellbeing. Note that Dr. Bates is willing to work with women who are currently pursuing Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).
